Thursday's class was an outrageous success! Our lesson was inspired by Marc Chagall, particularly his painting "I and the Village" which is currently at the MOMA in New York. It is a cool painting because it is imagery from Marc's childhood. Using this inspiration, we drew our own 'village' using memories and imagination from our homes and pets and items from nature. We were careful to make it 'dream like' and not super realistic. Each piece turned out VERY unique and beautiful- good job!

Thanks to everyone, we will now be doing lessons Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4:00pm. This will be the same lesson- I just added Wednesday to accomodate everyone's schedules. This week December 1 and 2nd will be an acrylic PAINTING inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's "Sunflowers"- don't miss out! Just e-mail me which day you want to reserve a spot in.
